Our Aims

The UK Land mass is roughly 60,000,000 acres.

Allowing for wildlife, non-farmable areas, fuel and food requirements to be provided from this finite land resource each man woman and child would require 10 acres to support them. This means that the “Natural Population” of the UK is 6,000,000 or less than 1/10th of what it is today. The last time it was around this size was 300 years ago.

Not a sustainable population?

New Zealand and Norway have land masses of roughly the size of the UK and populations of substantially less than 6 million, and they manage to look after their sick and elderly and punch above their weights in most areas of world activity.

The plan does not require that each person sits in their own 10 acre patch, there will still be urban areas with industry, whilst some areas would be left to go wild and others intensively farmed and others kept as managed woodlands to provide fuel and building materials, the land is used in its most appropriate manor.

It is hoped that the plan will be adopted by all political parties as their long term goal and all policies that they introduce will keep in mind this plan so that whatever party is in power many of the policies will remain the same giving us long term planning opportunities and stability.
